The Basics

My name is Leighton Taylor, and I am a freelance graphic designer located in Greenville, South Carolina. I am passionate about design and I love to solve problems.

I am 21 years old and will be finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in May, 2010.

Past

I began freelancing when I was 17, designing a logo and letterhead for a friend’s organization. Pencil drawing had been a hobby since I was 5, but that year I fell in love with graphic design. Aside from the thrill of creating art, I soon realized how rewarding a successful client relationship can be. Discovering a problem, creating a strategy to solve it, and executing the plan with precision and professionalism is truly exhilarating!

Present

Currently in my last year of university study, I am excited to soon be spending more time at the sketchpad and computer.

I am engaged to the girl of my dreams, Ryan Joy Spalding, and we will be married in May of 2010.

Future

Freelance designing. Helping clients find excellent solutions to design problems. Who knows what else?! Life is exciting!
